Fortis Construction was engaged after the 4th September Earthquake to undertake repairs to the 23 Story Pacific Tower. The building consists of a mix of Hotel Facilities and luxury Apartments. The scope of the project involved the following:

• External Inspections of concrete panel facade
• Plastering, painting and tiling of Apartments
• Plastering, painting and tiling of Hotel Rooms and Stairwells

The project is ongoing and so far work has been completed within the project scope. Formal reports were prepared on a monthly basis for our underwriters. Our Loss Adjuster commented that our project was the smoothest running of all their claims. Employees and sub-contractors were trust worthy and professional. Liaison with the hotel was well managed. Once the repairs are completed, I would continue to use them should the need arise in the future.

Fortis Construction has been working with us since September the 4th to undertake Earthquake Repairs. The scope of the project involved work repair work on the following:

• 7 Stories - Apartment Towers – East and West
• 3 Stories - Historic Façade of Cathedral Junction
• Glass Atrium

They completed work on time and communicated changes to project timelines. All employees and sub trades were professional and work is finished to a high standard, they are efficient and reliable. They were considerate and work well alongside other businesses within the area. I have no hesitation in recommending them to future clients.

We used Fortis Construction for our home, we found all their boys to be very respectful and a delight to work with, I would definately recommend them to anyone looking for a competent building company who take pride in their work.

As the owners of the property at ## ########, Northwood we would like to acknowledge all the people involved in the excellent repair work recently completed on our home.

From the first point of contact with Jan Collins at the Bishopdale Hub, who was of immense help when at short notice we required authority from our insurer to get alternative accommodation, to the staff from Fletcher's who visited our property before, during, and on completion of the repair work, all were very helpful and informative.

Most importantly, we would like to thank the team from Fortis Construction Ltd who carried out the work. Project Manager Terry Bryan, who despite at times having problems cropping up that could have held up our progress, undertook a very hands on operation to see us complete on time, and was hugely supportive throughout the whole process.  And the paint team headed by Tony, who not only treated our home with respect but also ourselves. Although it can be very stressful having a crew of strangers in your home for weeks on end, they made it as workable as possible, especially with one of us in the home during the day most of the time. They worked very professionally, and I might add here, very hard, to finish the repair to an excellent standard for which we are very grateful. So many thanks to all concerned.
